I am a woman that chose to go by the gender neutral name of ‘Chris’ online back in 2009.
I have been working in the Internet Marketing space for 14 years now.
I run a small SEO consulting firm called Darling SEO and manage my own online marketing assets.
Assets including:
I reside on the east coast in the first state of Delaware. A small wonder indeed.
I am a wife, a mother, a sister and a daughter.

Blah, Blah Blah…
Let’s get to the good stuff.
Who do I help?
You, the introverted recovering addict.
You, over there, fighting mental illness daily.
The you that is not cut out for the corporate world.
But are sick of the day (or night) job they have to show up for.
You, if you feel like you don’t fit in anywhere.
You have special skills or talents that you can use to start your own online business you can be proud of.
How do I know?
I know because I’ve been there.
26 years ago I hit my rock bottom. I lost my freedom, my dignity and my pride.
I experienced multiple placements in detox centers and psyche wards prior to that.
I was dually diagnosed with addiction and mental illness.
I’ve never been cut out for the corporate world and often felt chronically unemployable.
Today, 26 years later, I can say that my life looks drastically different.
Now I have an online business. I have a family (wife and 2 unruly children😊).
I have my freedom from the shackles of addiction.
The mental illness part is something I deal with daily. Managing my symptoms is top priority.
It makes keeping my mindset for business in check difficult.
I’m constantly battling imposter syndrome with my business. Soon, you will too.
My identity is intertwined with the success, progress and failures of my business. I’m obsessed with it.
This may resonate with you.
It’s not uncommon for a recovering addict to become obsessed with something in place of their addiction.
That replacement often looks like a new obsession with your health and appearance.
Or an obsession with work to the point of being a workaholic.
Some 12 steppers would argue that you are not recovering when you replace drugs and alcohol with another compulsory activity.
Should that really matter though?
I believe that you need to become obsessed with something different, something healthier if you are going to change your life for the better.
There are many successful entrepreneurs that have a background of addiction.
Harold Jonas, founder of Sober Network
Steve Abrams, founder of Sober Vacations
Mike Lindell, founder of MyPillow
Sam Polk, founder of EveryTable
Tim Stoddart, founder of Stoddzy Internet Marketing
Dave Sharpe, founder of Legendary Marketer
Grant Cardone is another successful entrepreneur with a background of addiction.
He tells people you must be obsessed with success.
YOU could be the next one.
I’m here to show you the ropes, get you started and watch you soar online too.
Constantly evolving… to be continued….
